And the glass is a really interesting shape too!

I have a load of bocks and doppelbocks in the cellar at the moment, and I'm half afraid of them. I'm never sure if I really like them as a type, but I'll struggle through :) Definitely sipping material though.

I used a Hacker-Pschorr Animator in a chili I made a few weeks ago and it seemed to work pretty well. I'll be trying some in a beef stew tomorrow instead of a stout or porter.Barry Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07367655129107699025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6291499137127413508.post-83321927590560779602008-10-09T18:43:00.000+01:002008-10-09T18:43:00.000+01:00I picked up a bottle of Aventinus last weekend too...I picked up a bottle of Aventinus last weekend too so will try it at the weekend. The next time you feel like heading in this general direction, and if it's available, I recommend an Aventinus (the big one, not the concentrated Eisbock in the small bottle: that'll kill you) -- it's wheat-based and is much softer. And really really nice too.The Beer Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14105708522526153528noreply@blogger.com
